We would also like to thank the members of the Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers Union for allowing us to use their facilities for conducting many of the steering committee and subcommittee meetings.
We wish to acknowledge the significant contribution of the USEPA. A draft of the USEPA guidance document, General Guidance on Risk Management Programs, is the basis for this guidance document. Much of the federal document language and intent was not changed; however, some sections were revised to reflect CalARP regulatory requirements and the guidance developed by the above committees for Contra Costa County.
*A special word of thanks is passed along for Al McNabney’s contributions, not only to the Technical Subcommittee, but also for his community efforts throughout the county. Our best wishes are passed along to his family and friends
