Water Wells Program
The Water Wells Program ensures the public receives water that is safe to drink and the quantity supplied is adequate to meet the community’s needs. The Program issues permits to construct, reconstruct and destroy water wells and evaluates the construction and water quality of existing water wells. A Water Well Permit Application for a Test Hole (Drill and Destroy) is not required if the boring does not exceed 50 feet and groundwater is not encountered.
