Proposed Modifications
The Kern County Public Works Department – owner/operator of the Mojave-Rosamond Sanitary Landfill – has submitted an application to amend the Report of Facility Information to clarify the hours of operations. Specifically, the Report of Facility Information has been amended to include:
- Amended Hours of Operation to clarify other landfill activities.
LEA Determination
Kern County Environmental Health Division, acting as the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), has approved the Report of Facility Information Amendment. The LEA has also determined that the RFI Amendment does not require modification or revision to the Solid Waste Facility Permit. The LEA accepted the original application on August 30, 2018.
